Welcome to CAL's new-improved Masters' Catalogue

Now you can easily upload and search for copyright works in alternate formats such as Braille, large print, digital and audio. With the help of additional search fields, and a streamlined system for uploading new works, using the Masters' Catalogue has never been easier.

About the Masters' Catalogue

Originally launched in 2003, CAL's Masters' Catalogue was developed to provide efficient access to works in alternate formats under the Statutory Licence for the print disabled.

Organisations operating under the Statutory Education Licence are required to enter into the Catalogue the details of any works they have created in alternate formats. Other users can then search the Masters' Catalogue and request the relevant alternate format of a copyright work required by their student or patron.

Access to the Masters' Catalogue is available to those institutions assisting people with a print disability and operating under the Statutory Education Licence. This includes all universities, TAFEs and most schools. Institutions that are not educational, but do assist those with a print disability, are eligible to apply for the licence.
